I'm a petite woman with a large bust (34F, 5'2, 150lbs). I chose this style for the wide straps in hopes of alleviating my chronic and excruciating shoulder pain. Based on the size quiz, I ordered a large as advised.
Things I do like: The fabric is amazing, the posture shoulders do help, and after 2 days I do feel *some* relief from the shoulder and neck pain most bras cause me.
What I don't like: With my small band/large cup combo needs, the large isn't a great fit. The band is a bit loose and the cups are a bit small. Even though I purchased the midi for more coverage, my cleavage is still spilling out.
The worst is that this is just not made for a petite woman. My narrow shoulders result in the straps being too far apart which makes the support not great. Also the shorter distance between my shoulder/nips due to being small-framed makes this bra really too long and again this makes the intended support less, well, supportive.
Overall, this bra is still leaps and bounds better than anything else I've tried. I just wish for how expensive it was that it fit better. For as awesome as the advanced design of the bra is, I would think more customizable sizing options would be available. If nothing else, I feel that the company should consider producing petite sizes since women come in all shapes, heights, and weights. If the shoulder straps were literally 2 inches closer together and 2 inches shorter, this would be a dream. I don't think I'll be able to get it altered though due to the posture support.
I'll likely still keep the bra, because it still feels better than anything else that I had, I guess I'm just going to have to spend another $100+ dollars to get the one with adjustable shoulders.
I have never spent $100 on a bra in my life, so I was pretty nervous to buy this. However, I've been wearing a strapless tube bra for months because the weight of my tiddies on my shoulders causes headaches and shoulder pain. I felt super self conscious going out in public with my boobs at my waist all the time, but every previous strapped bra I tried was causing this problem.
I've only been test driving the Freedom Max Support Midi for a week, but so far, no shoulder pain! That's huge! The compression really takes the weight out of my shoulders.
The compression definitely takes some getting used to visually. I'm a 38F and I'm used to my boobs taking up the whole front of my body. When I wear this bra, I look more like a C cup. I imagine that this could be very gender-affirming if you're non-binary or trans. For me, it's just a bit strange because I'm used to having big boobs.
Makes me wonder if any of their other styles would provide similar support without so much squish, but for now I am happy with my purchase.
A great workout bra. A bit snug for daily wear, but perfect your workout or run.
I have three styles of these bras and this suits me best. Great support for both front and back. 38D
I wear a 38 DDD and this bra is such a game changer for me! (I wish they also offered it in white). I’ve now been back to buy 3 of them! My shoulders have stopped aching, and the pinched nerve I have in my neck has stopped bothering me, and I attribute it all to the comfort from this bra. I wear mine under EVERYTHING, not just as a workout bra. Thank you for inventing this! You are absolutely helping thousands of people! 💖
