This bra saved my poor aching shoulders. I am back to purchase my third.
Maybe the right bra can! I had been suffering from ordinary bra straps cutting agonizingly into the nerves of my shoulders, it had become rather an emergency for me, and the choice left to me was strapless (difficult for a 40DDD) or let ‘em flop. I was pretty depressed by the choice of living the rest of my life in either serious pain or floppy discomfort. Turns out, it’s a false dichotomy, because I found Kinflyte just in the nick of time! They got a Freedom Max Bra out to me in a couple of days, and I loved it, and ordered the Freedom Max Midi, Freedom Eco Jersey, and Dream Bra immediately, and then the Freedom Zip Eco Jersey. All of them gave me reason to live again, as the ultra-wide straps eliminate the shoulder nerve destruction and pain, while holding everything up high and proud (cleavage, but not renaissance wench bawdy cleavage). The Freedom Max Midi and Dream Bra are my favorites so far. All of them hug securely and comfortably, are well-made, high quality fabric, and I believe they’ll hold up for a long time. The Max Midi comes up ever so slightly higher in front than the regular Freedom, but is still low cut enough for all of my clothes, and the Max style doubles for me as work or workout bra. The Dream Bra is so, so soft and comfy, the most comfortable bra I’ve ever worn - I’d wear it all the time except that it’s a little less supportive so this one is for home and lounging. (It’s still far more supportive than any of the wireless lounge bras I’ve tried, though.) The zippered style sounded like a good idea, the fit and look are good, with a nice high front that’s good for exercise, but it didn’t work for me because doing up the zipper hurts my hands. I’m in an XL in all styles.
All of the bras smooth over the back so no more back fat or underarm bulges. I sometimes wear them with the little chicken cutlets, which provide a little more shape, and sometimes without. They wash (cold, delicate) just fine and hang dry quickly. They all (even the Dream) subtly remind me to hold my shoulders up and back. I find them a little more comfortable on my skin when worn inside-out (same fit as right side-out). There is a vertical seam in the cups that shows through some of my tops, but really, with all that’s going for these bras, I don’t care. I’m really looking forward to trying the Rise style Freedom Eco and Max in my size and colors coming back into stock - it looks like the narrower strap will work well for some of my clothes without digging in. I’ll also order a Freedom Eco Midi when my size and color are available again. (The “Max” and “Midi” were a little confusing to me at first because it makes me think of maxi and midi skirts, but “Max” refers to the support level and “Midi” refers to the coverage.)
Customer Service has been amazing: a helpful email exchange nailed down the right size for me, shipping is very fast, and exchanges/returns easy as pie. The packaging is very nice as well.
I’ve got fibromyalgia, and the old excruciating pain and resulting depression that these bras have relieved for me are no small matter. I’m so delighted - and grateful - to have found them.
Life-changing! Seriously, this is the best bra I've ever worn in my life. It provides outstanding support and unparalleled comfort. Thank you to everyone at Kinflyte for creating something extraordinary. I'm a size 34H (XL fits perfectly in their sizing) and this is the only bra I'll ever wear from now on because of the incredible sense of support and freedom from shoulder/neck pain within 15 minutes of putting it on. I have EDS (Ehler's-Danlos Syndrome, which causes chronic pain/joint dislocations), and this bra is revolutionary in terms of how it distributes the weight across the broadest possible area. An additional benefit with this bra is how well it is engineered in terms of giving postural cues and helping to keep joints and muscles properly aligned. Highly recommended!
Pros: No wires; wide straps; comfortable support. Cons: I have large breasts, 44-J and have to buy a very large size which leaves me with a massive uniboob and straps that are too long and not adjustable. Just warning the plus plus gals like me out there- makes a good sleeping bra! Site wouldn’t let me give less than 5 stars- I’d give it 3 stars if I could.
I was super hesitant on buying this bra as I have never had luck with online bra orders in the past and the pricetag was a bit of a shocker. I’m so glad I took a leap and bought it. SO STINKING comfy!!! First day I wore it I had a colleague comment that I looked really “shapely!” Lol
The customer service also rocks! I accidentally ordered the wrong size on one item and they but a replacement in the mail before I could even print the return label on my side. Just bite the bullet and go buy one!!! (40 F/G and the 2x fits snug but not tooo tight)
